I was raised in northwest San Antonio, attended local public schools and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. I then attended San Antonio College, earned a B.S. in psychology from the University of Houston, earned 30 graduate hours in psychology from Trinity University in San Antonio, and completed an MBA from U.T. at San Antonio in 1979.
My work experience includes 13 years as a research psychologist at Brooks AFB - San Antonio, and more that 20 years experience in financial institution marketing. I retired from the USAA Federal Savings Bank in San Antonio, where I marketed a variety of financial services including Home Loans and Equity Loans. After leaving USAA I completed my Real Estate education at the San Antonio Board of Realtors.
My wife, Jann, and I continue to live in northwest San Antonio with an assortment of cats and dogs. Jann teaches English for Speakers of Other Languages at the Northside Independent School District. We have two sons and four grandchildren, including 3 boys and one girl.
